Uganda - Creating Jobs in the North
For many years, Northern Ugandans lived in fear of the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA). Today the risk of the LRA has been removed, but Northern Uganda is still recovering from its terror and over 75% of Northern Ugandans live on $2 or less per day. PEER Servants is partnering with Christian Action for Empowering Church and Community (CAFECC) to help the people of Northern Uganda start micro-businesses that can provide for their own families while creating the jobs needed by others in their communities. Your gift will create jobs for the Northern Ugandan people.
An average initial micro-loan in Uganda is $100. You have the option of providing a gift that could cover this full amount or a smaller gift option that could cover a portion of this amount.
