About PEER Servants

Three words capture much of who PEER Servants is...

Partnership:  PEER Servants partners with indigenous Christian microfinance organizations in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Eastern Europe, and Latin America.  PEER Servants is invited by these local organizations to partner with them in serving hundreds, thousands, and sometimes tens of thousands of the materially poor of any or no faith by offering micro-loans, free savings programs, business training, education to children, and spiritual encouragement.  Over 150,000 of the materially poor are being served directly through the holistic programs of our indigenous partners.

Volunteers:  PEER Servants serves these partners through volunteers from around the world whose desire to follow Jesus leads them to offer their services pro bono in a collective effort to extend a bit more of heaven to the materially poor.  The volunteers serve the indigenous microfinance partners which, in turn, serve the materially poor.  There are four key areas in which the volunteers offer their services:  capacity building, resource development, networking of partners with each other, and general support and encouragement.  If you are interested in becoming a PEER Servants volunteer, email us at volunteer@peerservants.org.

Reciprocity:  Our partnerships are not one-way - just focused on helping the materially poor.  They are two-way, wherein our indigenous microfinance partners and their clients invest socially and spiritually in the lives of the PEER Servants volunteers serving them.  At PEER Servants, we believe the kingdom of heaven has a material, social, and spiritual realm.  Those who are strong in one area can strengthen others, thereby experiencing more of the kingdom of heaven on earth while extending it to others.
